About Me

Originally an East Coast native, I moved to Los Angeles after graduating from Emerson College with a Bachelor's degree and worked in the film and television industry for over 13 years. I received a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles, and before going into private practice, I gained experience working as a crisis counselor as well as in community mental health, as a counselor at Southern California Counseling Center (SCCC). At SCCC, I worked with individuals, couples, teens and families from all different cultural backgrounds, dealing with a broad range of issues. Additionally, I facilitated an anger management group and an LGBTQ+ teen group. ​Helping clients identify their strengths and resiliency in addition to what may be holding them back has been a privilege and incredibly rewarding work. 

During my time in the Entertainment industry, I had a variety of different roles—working at a talent agency, various production companies, casting, on and off set, and most recently in development working directly with writers, directors and producers. My first hand knowledge and broad perspective of the industry, as a whole, is something I bring to my practice and I have an in-depth understanding of the unique pressures and challenges faced by those in both the creative and business sides of the industry.
